Have you stayed at Coat Aillis? Then why don't you send your comments.

Hi Paulein, Simon and boys,
We are now back home in Canada after a wonderful holiday in France.
Your family and warm hospitality were a big factor of wonderful memories of Brittany.
You live in a very special part of the world.
Thank you for everything.
Warm Wishes,
Bill and Anne

Hi there Simon and Pauline

Thought we just had to send a few comments of commendation for the wonderful holiday we recently enjoyed at Coat Aillis. We had such a great time that we're already thinking of booking again for next year so we'd appreciate any news on how soon we should book La Maison Principale and which weeks it might be available! The children adored the huge garden and the adults loved to see the freedom that offered as well as the safety and privacy - we enjoyed many an hour charging around or sitting late into the warm and light evenings. The pool was of course enormously popular and we appreciate your customary flexibility in allowing us to take early morning dips before the pool was opened. Thank you for keeping it so clean and the clever design suits all ages. The great thing is that it's so rarely busy that you feel that you have it to yourself, unless the children want to find friends to swim with. We love the whole area around Plestin & Perros and now see in the Times newspaper that it's one of the most popular areas for the discerning French holidaymaker! We're glad to be amongst such select company and look forward to returning in 2007 and enjoying your well measured hospitality and relaxed attitude...... Philip Woodford August 06

We had a brilliant time - stayed for 2 weeks in Maison Crock and
Principale. Highly recommend the gites to anyone looking for a great beach
holiday but with lots of other things to do as well. The setting is great
and the hosts are super friendly. First week there were less of us so we
stayed in Crock (lovely conservatory great for late night cards) by the end
of the week we were so happy didn't want to move...however Principale is
even better in real life than on the web - fantastic big dining table,
feels like a home rather than a rental house and the garden is something
else (huge and secluded). We particularly loved the pool, the BBQ and the
garden/orchard -so beautiful that it was hard to drag ourselves out to
local restaurants in the evening and the runaway cows were an added
excitement. The kids told me about the lovely rabbit (angora I think) but I
forgot to find it - will have to go back. Thanks!

hi simon amd pauline,

From the 10 members of the Chandler family from Leamington Spa We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Pressoir in August 2005 - a great place for the kids aged from 2-11years. We hope to return next year if you can fit us in! Sorry we forgot to write in the Guest book

Message from the Cutler family - We've just come back from our 8th annual visit to Coat Aillis and the only consolation is that we've booked again for next summer! Francis Cutler 24/08/05

Hi! Remember us? The Brockwell-Parker family - Rebecca & Dean and their 3 well-behaved?? children - Thomas, Jordan & Simeon? I reckon you do! We had an absolutely wonderful time staying with you for the month (12th December 2003 - 12th January 2004) before returning to England and then flying out a week later to live in Auckland, New Zealand! We found everything at your wonderful complex far better than the website could ever portray it! (Even you, Simon, look far better in real life!). You are the most perfect hosts anyone could ever want - you know just when to be friendly and also when to give people space ... the perfect combination. Now we are in New Zealand, we miss you more than we could ever have imagined (though this 'missing you' thing has been heightened by Paulien actually writing a letter to me last week and bringing back so many happy memories of staying with you ... along with the many cappuccinos at Cafe Macareaux!) Anyone who stays with the Pocock family at Coat Aillis is definitely going to have a great time. You can't fault the accomodation, the hosts, the beautiful scenery or anything at all. If we ever head back over to England from N.Z., we will definitely head over to Coat Aillis to relive our happy times. (Yes, Simon ... and you will be there to greet us... with a smile!!!) Love Beccy & co xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Posted by the Chapman Family London, England - 10/7/2001 Thanks to Simon snd Paulien for making our stay so comfortable. Coat Aillis is in a rural location yet only a 2 minute drive from the nearest beach. They have strived to lay on plenty of on site entertainment yet the gites are centrally located for many worthwile visits to this beautiful region of Brittany. Highly recommended!

Posted by Rollo Janet Calum Chloe McGrath Kilkhampton, Cornwall - 10/4/2001 Very relaxing and laid back spot that suits us just fine with plenty of beaches nearby for the kids. Hopefully we shall be back next year when its a bit warmer/sunnier. October 2002

Posted by Mairead Matthew Wales and Alice Barry Dublin, Ireland - 10/3/2001 We had a great holiday not one wet day. The northren coast of Brittany has much nicer scenery and a more interesting coastline than the south

The pool is excellent, the houses are much more home-like than any other gite I've seen, very well equipped. Simon and Paulien have created the perfect place to rest your soul from everyday-life.
